The Elbert
Douglas County Livestock Association is pleased to announce that its
annual memorial scholarships are available to students who are
residents of either Elbert or Douglas Counties. The college
scholarships are in memory of various residents of the two counties
who have had significant impacts on the livestock industry in the
area.
Four
scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors or graduates
living in Elbert or Douglas County, or seniors or graduates who are
members in good standing of Elbert or Douglas County 4-H or FFA programs.
The successful recipients must be accepted at or enrolled in an
accredited college or university, with a major in an agricultural
related area.
Anyone
interested in receiving an application for the EDCLA
Memorial Scholarship should contact a EDCLA member for a
application.
