Double Mugging: This event will consist of four mounted members having a 3-minute time limit and a 3-loop limit to complete their run. The riders will cross a sort line, be given the animal number they have drawn, sort that animal back over the sort line before any loops are allowed. If the animal re-enters the herd by crossing the sort line, team receives a no time. (Exception: If animal is roped and a roper is in control of the animal that crosses the line.) The animal is to roped and held while the muggers dismount, remove the head rope, mark the animal with chalk (anywhere behind hip toward tail), and one member on foot running back across sort line to complete the event.

Team Doctoring: This event will consist of four mounted members having a 3-minute time limit and a 3-loop limit to complete their run. The riders will cross a sort line, be given the animal number they have draw, sort that animal back over the sort line before any loops are allowed. If the animal re-enters the herd by crossing the sort line, team receives a no time. (Exception: If animal is roped and a roper is in control of the animal that crosses the line.) The animal is to be roped (head and heels).  Doctoring team will dismount, remove the head rope and place on front feet (now both front feet are in head rope and both back feet in heel rope), mark animal with chalk in neck area.

Trailer Loading: This event will consist of four mounted members having a 3-minute time limit and a 3-loop limit to complete their run. The riders will cross a sort line, be given the animal number they have draw, sort that animal back over the sort line before any loops are allowed. If the animal re-enters the herd by crossing the sort line, team receives a no time. (Exception: If animal is roped and a roper is in control of the animal that crosses the line.) The roped animal will be pulled or hazed to trailer; remaining riders will dismount and put animal in trailer by hand.  The roper may use horse to hold the animal steady and pull, but may not jerk the animal into trailer or use any unnecessary roughness. A call for unnecessary roughness will result in disqualification. Trailer door is to be securely latched, rope removed from animal and out of trailer, and all team member to be outside the trailer to complete run.

Calf Branding: This event will consist of one mounted rider using one rope only, two flankers, and one brander, having a 2 minute time limit to rope 2 calves. After rider crosses line, number of drawn calf will be given. There is no loop limit, catch-as-catch can. The side to be branded must be designated and the same side will be used for both calves.  Flankers may grab rope and help pull calf across line, but may not touch calf until entire calf is across the lie. Flankers will flank calf and remove rope before brander may remove branding iron from bucket. Roper to return to calf pen as soon as rope is removed to rope the next calf, which will be the next numeric order. When branding iron is returned to bucket after second calf, the run is complete.

Team Sorting: This event consists of 4 mounted team sorters. Within a 3-minute time limit, the team must sort 3 head in numeric order across the sort line. Fastest time wins. A 30 second warning call will be given prior to the expiration of the 3 minutes. All cattle will be bunched at the cattle side of the sort line before time begins. The announcer will give the cattle number once the team has crossed the sort line and time begins. Busting into the heard will result in a no time. Once committed to the cattle, the team is completely responsible for their animals, it is the team’s responsibility to immediately pull up and call for a judge’s opinion, if they feel there is a sick, blind, or injured animal in their numbered cattle. Once the cattle are worked no excuses will be accepted. If an animal leaves the arena, either over or through a fence or through a gate, the team can either be: 1) disqualified for unnecessary roughness,   2) given time on their remaining cattle, 3) given a re-run, or 4) time stopped, cattle brought back and time resumed, starting with their existing time. The decision will be up to the judge and that decision is final. Contact with cattle by hands, hats, ropes, bats, rommels, or any other equipment with be a disqualification. Should the judge determine the team is guilty of unnecessary roughness, a no time will result. If the cattle do not cross the score line in sequential numeric order, or if cattle once sorted escape from the team side back across the sort line to the cattle side, a no time will result.  Team may call for time with any number of cattle sorted, however, team sorting 3 head will be placed higher than those sorting 2 head or a single head.
