• Catch - A - Calf Contest - last Sunday of the Elbert County Fair

• Ranch Rodeo - September

• Annual Meeting - Saturday Night in October or November 

Meetings

• Come to our monthly board meetings and feel free to bring a guest.  Meetings are the second Tuesday at the Month.  Meetings are held at a variety of locations.

June 2012 :  Elizabeth Stampede Parade

June 23, 2012: 3nd Annual  "Ride with Ranchers"
                          @ John Metli's Ranch

Ride is followed by a steak fry for adults and hamburgers for riders under 12.  Adults $25, Youth riders $12.50.  Bring guests.  For more information contact President Bear Kay or stop by and see Brook at the Powder River Hat Company in Elizabeth.  Click Here for entry form.  Spaces are limited.

Elbert County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building - Kiowa @ 6:30pm.
Bring a side dish and we'll do the rest.  Includes a ice cream social and speeches by Catch-a-Calf, Bred Heifer and Scholarship youngsters.

Elbert County Fairgrounds - Kiowa

A tribute to our western heritage as a competition with events such as team doctoring, trailer loading, calf branding, team sorting and double mugging.  It's an exciting competition and fun to watch.

Rodeo starts in the morning with the Steak Fry at 5pm.

October 29, 2011:  EDCLA Annual Meeting

This event prides itself with a true western spirit menu accentuated with presentations by our industry leaders. Awards presented for EDCLA youth competitions.

At Elbert County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building  - Kiowa, Colo. 

5:30 - Social, Early Bird Drawing & Silent Auction

6:30 - Music, Steak Dinner, Dessert

Annual Membership of $25 includes 1 steak dinner at annual meeting.  Additional meals are $12.50.
